House is more than just a dance — it’s a feeling, a rhythm, and a connection between body and music. Rooted in the underground club scenes of Chicago and New York, House dance is known for its fast footwork, fluid transitions, groove-heavy movement, and soulful expression. In this class, you’ll learn the foundational steps, freestyle patterns, and musicality that define House culture. Whether you’re new to the style or want to take your movement to the next level, this class will build your stamina, rhythm, and personal flow. You’ll train: Foundational House steps (Jack, Shuffle, Stomp, Pas de Bourrée) Groove and bounce techniques Footwork drills and across-the-floor combos Musicality, flow transitions, and freestyle building Floorwork, circular motion, and self-expression Class Includes: 60-minute guided instruction Full-length mirrors and Bluetooth sound system Group breakdowns and solo freestyle time Clean, welcoming studio at HyVee Arena Up to 40 participants per class Perfect for: Dancers looking to build rhythm, footwork, and cardio endurance Artists wanting more musicality in their freestyle Beginners or advanced movers exploring club-style dance Anyone wanting to move with joy and authenticity Location: HyVee Arena – Lower Level (SSA Studio) Pricing: $35/session or discounted through membership Bring water, good vibes, and shoes you can glide in — House is all about connection, not perfection.

Cancellation Policy
Street Styles Academy Membership Agreement This Membership Agreement ("Agreement") is between Street Styles Academy LLC (“SSA”) and the Member, or the parent/guardian if the Member is under 18 years old. By enrolling in any SSA program, Member agrees to the following terms: 1. Program Participation & Expectations Members are expected to arrive on time, dressed appropriately, and ready to participate in all scheduled practices, classes, and events. Inexperienced students may be required to attend an Intro or Bronze class before advancing. Member placement and level are determined by SSA coaches through ongoing evaluations. A minimum 6-month training period is encouraged to maximize results and progression. 2. Tuition & Payments Monthly tuition is billed automatically through our partner GoMotion on the 1st of each month. Members who enroll mid-month will receive prorated tuition for that month only. Missed classes are not otherwise prorated or refunded. A $3 late fee will apply if payment is not completed within 14 days of the billing date. SSA reserves the right to suspend participation if the account is past due. 3. Membership Cancellation Memberships may be canceled at any time with written notice submitted by email at least five (5) days prior to the next billing cycle. Verbal, text, or in-person cancellation requests will not be accepted. Refunds are not provided for unused classes or mid-month cancellations. 4. Liability & Risk Waiver Participation in dance and physical activity involves inherent risk. Member voluntarily assumes all such risks. SSA, including its staff, instructors, affiliates, and venue partners, are not liable for injuries, illness, or personal property loss during SSA programs, whether on or off-site. Member releases SSA from all such liability. 5. Media Release & Promotional Use Member grants SSA permission to use their name, likeness, photographs, videos, and testimonials in promotional materials, including but not limited to websites, social media, printed materials, and advertisements. No compensation is provided. To opt out, a written request must be submitted prior to participation. 6. Code of Conduct SSA has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, bullying, or unsafe behavior. Any violation may result in removal from the program without refund. Members are expected to respect staff, peers, property, and facilities at all times.
